Site Audit
Crawl a website, read what it finds, and how pages are counted.
Site Audit crawls a website and reports its technical and on-page problems, with a Site health score out of 100. Open it from SEO → Site Audit and choose New site audit. Enter the domain, and a name if you want one (left empty, the list shows the domain), then click Continue.
Set Pages to crawl, JS rendering and Max click depth. Under Schedule, pick Weekly or Daily to re-crawl the site on its own, or Once. Start Site Audit saves the site’s settings and starts the audit, and every later crawl of the site uses them.
Reading a check
A check has six tabs: Overview, Issues, Crawled pages, Statistics, Compare and Progress. PDF prints the check, and Share makes a link your client opens without signing in. With your branding complete, the link carries your brand.
How pages are counted
SEO spends no credits. A crawled page counts once against your monthly page pool, and JavaScript pages count as 4. Pools reset on the 1st of each month (UTC) and unused pages don’t roll over. Without a plan you get 100 pages a month; Starter includes 100,000, Growth 300,000 and Agency 1,000,000. One check can crawl up to 2,000 pages on a plan. Checks running at the same time: 1 without a plan, 2 on Starter and Growth, 5 on Agency. JavaScript rendering is on the Growth and Agency plans.
A check that fails counts no pages. A scheduled audit uses the same monthly pages: when they can’t cover it, it is skipped and you are notified.
Owners, Managers and Members start audits and set schedules. Viewers can open checks but can’t start them.
